The event begins when your scientists scan a shielded planet, you then see them like being trapped in a time cycle, and you can free them since the shield has weakened, reinforce the shield, or do nothing, if I remember correctly. Shielding them and doing nothing kills them, but releasing them creates the Prikkiki-Ti, who are fanatic purifiers.(The Prikkiki-Ti got triggered super early by a hivemind that used to be in their space. He recaptured my system and it returned ownership to me.
